Our story (when started, by whom, what you sell)
Our journey began more than 50 years ago, when our grandfather started a small paper and paper products manufacturing business in Karachi. What began with office files and envelopes grew, generation after generation, into the manufacturing of sketchbooks, diaries and spiral notebooks used by students and offices across Pakistan.
Today, the business is run by the third generation of our family, and with it came a new idea: to serve artists the same way we have always served students and offices. In 2017, we started Hakimi from our shop in Urdu Bazar, Karachi, opposite Women’s College, dedicated entirely to art and craft supplies.
For more than 8 years, Hakimi has been the go-to place for students, hobbyists and professional artists. We offer a wide range of:
